The Fiesta of Vigan City is celebrated in honour of St. Paul, the Apostle, the patron saint of the city, on 25th day of January, every year. Locals and tourists come and gather to experience and watch the amazing street dancing, carnivals, different food fairs and arts & crafts which add to the attraction of Vigan, the UNESCO World Heritage City.


It is held not just to have fun or enjoy but to bring into life the colorful culture of the beloved city. It is held not just to experience the vibe of street dancing and carnivals but to learn more about what Vigan really means. It is not just a simple celebration nor a big party, it is a special event held for everyone in order to feel the true essence of being a Bigueño.

My dream, My future                     I'll Be Each day, I always think about what will I be soon in the near future. A person sitting in a comfortable chair, which is busy facing the screen of computer, above of a wide table full of papers. And the most important is that, I learned how important the existence of this product of technology is.                     During the discussions, not just like from the past quarters, I had really no problem in getting familiar to those information which is included in the lesson. In order to get through it, I participated and listened well. At home, I reviewed and refreshed all that was included in the discussion.          In this subject, I am just that 'go in the flow' one. This quarter, I was so comfortable about the topics, and I learned how to love it more. I just thought of it being a challenge for me. I just thought of how fun this subject is and not how hard it is.           ...

THE REAL DEFINITION The system of Filipino value comes out from our own culture or way of dealing with the flow of life, our extraordinary way of becoming such a human in this particular setting and time. We speak about the Filipino values in a fourfold sense.          First, although the humankind which is us, shares comprehensive human values, it is totally obvious that certain values take on for us an originally flavor of Filipino. Second is, when we talk about Filipino values, we don't mean that the Filipino values' elements aren't present in the value systems of other peoples and cultures.           Third, an example of Filipino value or disvalue does not exist alone, such as in isolation. These values of Filipinos like utang na loob, pakikisama at pakikiusap are categorized around the important core values like acceptance in a social matter and social mobility, and are always found in a definite set of fate or circumstances...
